It's a long time ago. As far as I remember the problem was solved with a kernel update. But I do not remember how long it took until the problem was solved or which version solved the problem. It seems to me that I used an own compiled kernel at that time and I don't know when I switched back to the standard ubuntu kernel. But I think I switched back before feisty was released.
