Hey Yuri,

Yes, working with a PPA (sbuild) can be a real pain. I've learned over
the years how to do it. All of the things you raised are definitely
annoying, but there's actually very good reasons for all of them that
make packages better. This is the reason why Debian has such a very high
quality selection of packages because of their high standards. I really
recommend checking out the Debian Policy Manual at some point for future
benefit too.
