(collisionTwo from the same forum question above says he was experiencing this issue with an XPS 9560, mind you, which is a Kaby Lake Mobile CPU, so it's still a bit of conjecture until we get more specs from others experiencing the 'doesn't actually suspend and needs a hard reset to do anything' probem.)
