Hi Christopher, Thank you for taking time to look into this issue.
1) No. The issue started when I connected third monitor to my Ubuntu PC. I have not tried 3-monitor setup with previous Ubuntu releases. 2) ls -la /var/crash total 256020 drwxrwsrwt 1 root whoopsie 366 touko 29 15:03 . drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 128 tammi 27 2017 .. -rwxrwxrwx 1 root whoopsie 0 touko 29 15:03 .lock -rw-r----- 1 sami whoopsie 5969518 touko 25 19:24 _opt_Gitter_linux64_Gitter.1000.crash -rw-r----- 1 sami whoopsie 28507228 touko 25 19:30 _usr_bin_gnome-shell.1000.crash -rw-r----- 1 sami whoopsie 50895637 touko 28 09:58 _usr_bin_Xwayland.1000.crash -rw-r----- 1 sami whoopsie 105541228 touko 25 19:12 _usr_lib_chromium-browser_chromium-browser.1000.crash -rw-r----- 1 sami whoopsie 71245625 touko 25 19:24 _usr_lib_xorg_Xorg.1000.crash 3) I now did install gnome-session-flashback and rebooted the machine. Even after this, the desktop crashed. 4) I just downloaded and booted to the latest cd-image from the link.
