Public bug reported:

Occasionally the system is totally silent after logging in a user.
The screen remains empty. The keyboard does not work. No cursor movement
possible.
By changing users a few times I have been able to force this situation.
To escape from this, I have to turn off the computer.
Attached the auth.log file.
