The error is:

"ERROR Dist-upgrade failed: 'E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve
generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.'"

"unresolvable problem" means nothing, too 'generic' output. But "held
packages" means a lot.

So downgrade to genuine version (from ppa's packages) then clean the
system via 'gtkorphan' & bleachbit (as root, but carefully select
options).

Then dist-upgrade should be happier.
