Public bug reported:

After upgrading from a perfectly working Feisty installation X will not work.
the first thing it did on first reboot was to flash 3 times while showing the
mouse
then switched to safe graphics mode. This mode is garbage as it will not allow
me to simply
1) continue in safe graphics mode,
2) fix X configuration.
Basically i cannot get past this mode. If i click continue the screen flickers
3 times
and drops me back to the safe graphics wizard again.. Did anyone even test
this new feature?
I have a Ge-Force 2 MX which was working with the Nvidia legacy driver in
Feisty.
This seems like a step back not a step forward for ubuntu. Stability is going
down thru
the floor. this is really sad.
