I am also affected. The browser window contents does not render, system is unresponsive. Sometimes only mouse can move and can change LED status on the keyboard (e.g. with Caps lock), but cannot even go to console or kill X system.
After rebooting, I checked /var/log/syslog and there are some errors related to GPU.
