Ubuntu Firefox display error on left hand side of browser. OK, I hope I HAD the same problem. When I would log on to some websites, specifically GMAIL, the left hand side of my Firefox browser would show a display error. It would look like 2"x2" blocks digitizing.... It's hard to explain.
I went to tools and add-ons and added FashGot. So far so good. The error disappeared immediately.
