You are right, the conf is what I missed. Since this is an uncommon feature (I agree it is currently underated, but that is how it is) there is no rush to fix it in release. Especially since it (the apparmor change) can be fixed by changing the conffile.
But I want to help to fix this the long run by bringing the change upstream... Also by being a qemu-apparmor issue it is actually a libvirt bug (which is what carries these profiles). ** Package changed: qemu (Ubuntu) => libvirt (Ubuntu) ** Summary changed: - qemu-bridge-helper incorrectly installed + qemu-bridge-helper fails due to apparmor blocks -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1754871 Title: qemu-bridge-helper fails due to apparmor blocks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1754871/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
