Public bug reported:

Im running ubuntu 7.10 on Thinkpad T60 with intel wireless (ipw3945). I
think i will have to go back to ubuntu 7.04 as nm-applet just dosent
work as needed.

The only working scenario for nm is, boot your computer and use only one
network then shutdown your computer.

NM has serious problems trying to refresh the list of networks. For
example, if i go to my office from home (it's only 4 blocks away)
without shutting down the laptop, when i get to the office i will have
the same networks as in my house. There will be no way to refresh the
network list but rebooting the computer. If i plug a Ethernet wire it
does seems to work, but wireless networking is a mess.

Scanning never worked 100 % in 7.04 but quality has dropped even more in
gutsy.

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
