An IP address is specific to a network interface, so one machine can have many IP addresses. This is probably why the IP address information is hidden behind the gear button for each network interface.
I agree this interface is unexpected after using Unity, but it does make good design sense. To see it go: Settings > Network > click on the gear button ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Opinion -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1754691 Title: Missing IP address info in Gnome Network Indicator pulldown To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1754691/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
