Public bug reported: When playing videos with VLC, I noticed that the memory usage only increases when going from movie to movie. After a few videos have been played, the window stops drawing and audio keeps playing, but any attempts to close the program appears to stop it. But.. it actually just hangs itself in the background until killed from the system monitor. This happens every single time I use it, without fail, and it's extremely annoying. This is probably not the first time this has been mentioned.
