I have a similar crash running Gutsy on a Thinkpad T60 with the Madwifi driver. network-manager 0.6.5-0ubuntu16 wpasupplicant 0.6.0+0.5.8-0ubuntu1 ~$ modinfo ath_pci filename: /lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/net/ath_pci.ko license: Dual BSD/GPL version: svn r2732
The attached log, produced by "sudo NetworkManager --no-daemon 2>&1" shows a crash that happened when I plugged in ethernet while the wireless interface was active. When this crash happens, network-manager CPU utilization hits 100% and can only be stopped with "kill -9". Will try catching it with GDB to get more usefull output. ** Attachment added: "nm-crash.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10186869/nm-crash.log -- [gutsy] NetworkManager crashes on LEAP attempt https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139387 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
