I am using a fresh install of Ubuntu 7.10 amd64. The bug is still present, but it changes it behavior.
After starting Ubuntu the bug floods the console. But after some time the flooding disappears and the Bluetooth Applet appears in the panel. I have no idea which component cause the change, but I thing it is connected with the network. Mostly the flooding disappears when I get a wlan connection or plug in the network cable.
