Public bug reported:
When I invoke a login shell (sh -l), PATH is set but not exported. The behaviour with Fedora, Debian, Alpine, CentOS and I think I tested others is to export PATH in that case. On my xenial and a (chrooted) bionic: ``` $ env -i sh -l $ echo $PATH /usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin $ printenv PWD=/home/irae/plash ``` ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1755185 Title: `sh -l` - PATH not exported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1755185/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
