"Just in case anyone else wants to try it without an hour of compiling,
I've put my SLAB kernel at http://screamingarmadillo.org/SLAB.";

Xpress 200M on Fujitsu-Amilo A1650g with fglrx.

I've installed the kernel modules and suspend/hibernate does not resume
here when POST_VIDEO=false.

FGLRX (8.42.3) is installed OK - I get AIGLX + compiz.

Does suspend/hibernate require that compiz will be off? Should the fglrx km be
compiled with the CONFIG_PM_SLEEP patch?
What about the SAVE_VBE_STATE and USE_DPMS in /etc/default/acpi-support are
they "true" or "false"?
