Public bug reported: After upgrade to Gutsy, fonts look blurry if LCD-subpixel is enabled. If I disable LCD-subpixel, the fonts look OK but in my laptop display the should look even better (provided LCD-subpixel worked OK). I've been told that this does not happen after a fresh install. Not tried though.
I've done the following without success in order to try to fix the problem: sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig-config sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig Firefox-3 fonts look cute but Firefox fonts look blurry. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Blurry fonts after upgrade from Feisty to Gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/157364 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
