Fixed! I regenerated a new xorg.conf from the "Screen and Graphics" tool and then I added (Option "PreferredMode" "[EMAIL PROTECTED]") to the Monitor section in my xorg.conf. I restarted X and now my resolution is correct, both in gdm and when I login. Thank you again for your help. Will this issue be addressed in future patches or will I have to always use this fix?
