** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: amarok

Amarok has an option titled "Resume playback on start". I would assume
that this means that if I exit Amarok (or if it crashes) and then
restart it, it would resume playing the same track, from the time
position it was at before the closure/crash. If the track was paused, it
should resume in a paused state.

Instead, it skips to the next track in the playlist, and starts playing
from the beginning of that track.
+
+ This has been a bug on at least Feisty and Gutsy. According to
+ https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134545 this is not a problem
+ upstream.
