The original Debian Build-Depends field is
Build-Depends: debhelper (>> 3.0.0), gtkglarea5-dev, imlib11-dev,
libglu1-xorg-dev | libglu-dev debian
that I haven't modified; I think in fact that the changes introduced before are
not necessary again, as said here
<List of Ubuntu changes dropped:
< - Update {build-,}depends for xorg -> mesa GL/GLU transition
< - added b-d on libglu1-mesa-dev
<libglu1-xorg-dev provides libglu1-mesa-dev which depends on libgl1-mesa-dev
