The ltspfsd running on the client does in fact include an automounter,
and if no network activity on the ltspfs mount is currently going on,
will unmount the physical media, making it safe to pull after 2 seconds
of inactivity.

For the next release, we'll look at what it will take to put the "Eject"
menu option back in, and have it do something useful (like, say, undo
the ltspfs mount).  Certainly, keeping the current behavior of the
automatic media unmount is desireable, as users in terminal situations
can, and often do, ignore the dire warnings about yanking media without
a proper eject.  However, having this in would add consistency to the
interface, and would be a desirable goal.
