audacious doesn't appear to use gvfs-backends so to test removed the backends package & replaced current libcdio packages with these 3, then it (audacious) works fine libcdio16_0.94-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb libcdio-cdda2_10.2+0.94+2-2_amd64.deb libcdio-paranoia2_10.2+0.94+2-2_amd64.deb
