I would like to confirm that there are indeed issues with Perl 5.26 and SQL Ledger 3.25 which are pretty much the same as in Debian Bug 869994 and on my openSUSE box.
I haven't tried the workaround of commenting out the line of code as indicated by the original SQL Ledger author but I will take a closer look. Console output from my openSUSE box is attached. I also have a "Bionic Beaver" development server for testing purposes as I am also very keen to have SQL Ledger available as an Ubuntu package.
