I installed the version of deja-dup from -proposed for artful and can
confirm the restore dialog is no longer blank.
$ apt-cache policy deja-dup
deja-dup:
Installed: 36.3-0ubuntu0.1
Candidate: 36.3-0ubuntu0.1
