this is P*** from **** requesting help to make one of you Touchpads run
under Linux(Ubuntu). Do you provide any kind of Drivers for your
Touchpads under Linux. May Problems refer to the following as far as i
know.

Linux does provide Information under /proc/bus/input/devices:

Also as far as i know there are these two Bugs reported for Ubuntu
