Perhaps there's some way that could be the default action, or at least
some sort of notification could be given upon install?  People used to
terminator on ubuntu could run into some bad issues with this.  I was
using terminator for hours after upgrading to 17.10 not realizing I was
editing and saving files on dozens of servers that were open in other
workspaces.
