This is the message I get when I try to boot.
The problem started after I downloaded some new updates, including a new
kernel. So I have to pick an earlier kernel and then the machine boots up ok.

RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0
crc error
VFS: cannot open root device "md0" or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

Using GRUB.
