I'm also having this problem usually I fix it manually with sudo killall -HUP NetworkManager I have an Acer 5610 laptop (ipw3945) 05:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02) 06:01.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4401-B0 100Base-TX (rev 02) This didn't happen in Feisty.
