@Gunnar Actually, Removing of those fonts (nanum, unfonts) are my first to do list after installation of Ubuntu (apt purge fonts-nanum* fonts-unfonts*) in terminal. As such, I agree with deletion of those fonts.
And, One more thing we should not miss is ibus-hangul. When installing ibus-hangul its package contains fonts-nanum automatically. If someone install ibus-hangul manually fonts-nanum would be installed during installation of ibus-hangul automatically.
