This bug is already resolved in Gnome Bugzilla, but Ubuntu uses still the unpatched version. I just issued a bug here to ask the maintener to put patches: x11/window: Don't manage InputOnly windows (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=361644) and compositor: Ignore offscreen windows when unredirecting (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=361648) into ubuntu packages.
