Subject: As we should all.

I had a  system I'd significantly  upgraded at one point, and the new
heatsink  was much bigger than the  old one.  the motherboard foolishly
put  all the pin headers for the power buttons and such right next to
the  CPU,  so  with  the new heatsink I couldn't plug any  of them  in.
I didn't care about the reset button or HD  lights or anything, but  not
having  the  power button is kinda a problem.

So I left a screwdriver in the (always open) case,  and every  time I
needed to boot it I'd poke the screwdriver  under  the  CPU and short
the  power  button pins. I had  to do that for  like 4 years...
