Public bug reported:

After upgrading to 17.10, suspending and resuming the laptop causes the
trackpad to not work. Does not respond to touch or click. Dell XPS13
9333

Touch screen works.

Performing:
$ sudo rmmod i2c_hid
$ sudo modprobe i2c_hid

Brings the little guy back every time.

Never had this issue under Unity so placed this against the gnome meta
package - file somewhere more logical.
