Hello Seth, or anyone else affected, Accepted bcmwl into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/6.30.223.271 +bdcom-0ubuntu1~1.2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
