Public bug reported: I have accomplished a completely unattended install of Ubuntu 16.04.1 Desktop LTS. It is very simple and rather generic, but I can put the CDROM in and walk away. The current issue is with installing packages and using either the ubiquity/success_command and the d-i preseed/late_command string ... It seems, all of these are ignored. I've tested these commands and none of them executed: 1. ubiquity ubiquity/successs_command string echo "Hello World" > /root/new.log 2. d-i preseed/late_command string in target apt-get remove -y thunderbird 3. ubiquity ubiquity/success_command string in-target echo "Hello again" > /root/new2.log
I don't know what is the problem why none of these command execute ? I even search into /var/log/installer and nothing found there either. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1728906 Title: Ignored Preseed Options for Ubuntu Desktop 16.04 LTS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1728906/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
