i am affected too! ubuntu 17.10 installer says: couldn't install grub2 to target. (... to /target/ which is the 2nd partition on my western digital ssd 120 GiB and shall be mounted as "/", formatted as ext4 jfs) (first partition is linux-swap) (last partition is extended, ext4, "/home")
on the first run, i may have forgotten to tell the installer, where to put the EFI install. now it's the second run, where no opensuse or windows installation reside anywhere anymore. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1460276 Title: package grub-efi-amd64-signed 1.34.3+2.02~beta2-9ubuntu1.2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2-signed/+bug/1460276/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
