> It's generally against Ubuntu's SRU policy to allow new major versions (3.18 > 3.20) into a stable release.
I am suggesting to upgrade to the latest stable version of Evolution which is the same as in 17.10 : Evolution 3.26 which came out right today. About upgrading to 17.10 I don't think so, I have no time available for cleaning the mess if the upgrade goes wrong (which happens to users when upgrading versions of the distribution, once a while). LTS it is, LTS it stays.
