4.14-rc6 is even worse -- I can't wake the machine after suspend at all, except by rebooting with long-press of the power button.
I tested other mainline kernels too. All 4.13-based mainline kernels I tested behave similar to the shipped Ubuntu kernel, from 4.13.4 down back to 4.13rc1. (incomplete suspend, on resume wifi doesn't connect, turn off wifi button does nothing, reboot only hard way) The mainline 4.12.14 kernel worked fine for me; suspend/resume were OK. ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1726061 Title: Inspiron 5565 suspend issues after 17.10 upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1726061/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
