Indeed, specifying the aliases in the YAML no longer does anything, more
information on this is here:

However, specifying the aliases in the YAML never had anything to do
with automatically connected them, that always has been handled via an
assertion in the store, and it still is.
Simply request automatic aliases by creating a new forum post in the
"store" category.
