I changed my fstab from UUID=a936dbe9-5ab5-4272-aaae-d22030824373 / ext4 errors=remount-ro 0 1
to UUID=a936dbe9-5ab5-4272-aaae-d22030824373 / ext4 rw,errors=remount-ro 0 1 and it now boots fine again.
