Public bug reported: I'm trying to install 17.10 with dual boot with disk encryption and add lvm.
The issue is that if I do not want to erase the disk, I will not be able to get the LVM option at all. After create the encrypted partition I do not have the option to use LVM (not even before). I want to be able to create a swap and a root partition using lvm within the encrypted volume but there is no such option. And I can't remove the windows partition, otherwise I can't upgrade the computer bios and firmware. ** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers-384 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1722222 Title: Ubuntu 17.10 Desktop installation: LVM missing on alternative partitioning To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-384/+bug/1722222/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
