Thanks for filing this bug in Ubuntu.
Turns out you have an invalid configuration setting in your
/etc/samba/smb.conf file:
[www]
path = /var/www
comment = red
guest ok = red <----
The "guest ok" parameter is a boolean type, meaning it takes only yes or
no values. You have it set to a username instead.
Once you change that setting and save the file, run these commands to
fix your system:
sudo apt update
sudo apt -f install
