Public bug reported:
Full-screen or windowed playing video can't be closed with ctrl+q. It
freezes instead. You need several close actions until the Gnome dialog
of "Force Quit" appears. The reason appears to be the extension
PixelSaver (https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/723/pixel-saver/)
causing this window malfunction. We should redirect the bug to that
extension instead, though other applications seem not affected.
