Yes I know there is an upstream binaries available already, however, I still prefer binaries from launchpad, as it will be the closest I would get when 4pane is officially available in Ubuntu. As there would be more or less differences between upstream and Debian packaging, and I prefer to learn to tweak the tool just once.
