Public bug reported: KDE5 session fails to start under FreeNX (backtrace included below). Seems that the same issue affects users of X2Go and possibly of other remote desktop solutions based on the NX libraries.
This bug has been reported with the KDE project, and there is a small patch availabe (comment 36 of the KDE bug). https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353825 Would be nice if Ubuntu applied the patch to the supplied KDE 5 packages.
