Thanks for the workaround. Without that Suspend2RAM and Suspend2Disk has not worked. My laptop is a Dell D620 with the NVidia graphic chip.
Suspend2RAM now works most times (did not suspend at the 3rd time anymore). Suspend2Disk still does not work with this workaround, it doesn't shut's down.
