having the same trouble as, https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114595 with Asus z71vp pentium M based notebook the problem seems to have become a little worse in gusty. the lid switch does not work at all (sorta)... the notebook does suspend just fine using the fn+ key combination. The display does blank, so i would assume the switch is being polled or interrupted correctly, but something is happening when it comes to the suspending.
