Public bug reported: Binary package hint: deluge-torrent
deluge version 0.5.4.1-1ubuntu3 Ubuntu 7.10 Nautilus 2.20.0 Opera 9.24 build 671 Used the widget Torrent Powersearch in Opera to search for torrents and downloading from btjunkie.com directly into deluge via Opera's built-in "filetransfer" (for lack of a better word) I set download location to Desktop Up- and download rates to 30/100 on port 6881 through D-Link Airplus 524 During download I couldn't see the files on the desktop, and upon completion I got an error message when trying to open the downloaded file, a movie, via deluge by right-clicking and pressing Open A second movie was also unavailable Thinking I had misread the location, or that Deluge was unable to perform the operation and the files were in the /home-folder, I tried opening /home-folder through the upper panel's button Places Nothing happened. No processor jump, no sudden RAM-usage, no disruption of network, no opening of folders of any kind even if they were on the desktop Was able to shift between workspaces and close programs and open new ones. All I couldn't do was see the downloaded movies on the desktop and open any folders. I did nothing further with the problem, such as look more closely at the processes in System Monitor. I did a restart by pressing the door on the upper panel and choose restart. Only error message upon reboot was my wireless which I have yet to configure properly. ** Affects: deluge-torrent (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- deluge froze nautilus, preventing opening of it https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155171 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
