Hi, thank you for taking the time to report this bug.
>From the upgrade logs we can see the upgrade process complains about a missing >file : Setting up desktop-base (8.0.2ubuntu1) ... update-alternatives: error: alternative path /usr/share/images/desktop-base/lines-wallpaper_1280x1024.svg doesn't exist dpkg: error processing package desktop-base (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 But after checking the package details the file is really shipped as part of the package. See : https://packages.ubuntu.com/xenial/all/desktop-base/filelist Also seeing that and it only happened once I'm tempted to mark it as Invalid. Feel free to reopened if it happens again. ** Changed in: desktop-base (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1530744 Title: package desktop-base failed to upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/desktop-base/+bug/1530744/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
