Public bug reported: I have installed the jacksum utility for computing checksum hashes.
But the jacksum -h option is unable to work since it is not able to locate the file "help_en.txt" I seem to remember it used to work on 12.04 and 15.04/10. Kindly rebuild the package including the help_en.tx file which helps in find info on using a certain parameter faster. Earlier I could query the jacksum utility on using some command line argument. e.g.: $ jacksum -h -a md5 Which would tell me about on using the -a option explicitly about the md5 hashing algorithm. ** Affects: jacksum (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1701028 Title: Jacksum -h option missing source help_en.txt To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/jacksum/+bug/1701028/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
